Big Love for Bobo: Help Him Get His Second Chance

Bobo had a whole community worried about him before he even had a name.

When someone spotted a large, drooling cat wandering behind our local hospital, his photo quickly spread through social media. Thankfully, one compassionate person went looking for him, found him, and brought him to Second Chance Sheridan Cat Rescue.

Bobo was terrified when he arrived, and we could see he'd already been through a lot. A ring of missing fur around his neck revealed that he'd once worn a collar so tight it had rubbed his skin raw. He was also suffering from a large, painful ulcer on his tongue that made swallowing uncomfortable.

But underneath all that fear was a sweetheart just waiting for someone to give him a chance.

A little Churu, a few chin scratches, and suddenly this 13-pound, extra-toed boy was curled up in our laps, soaking up the affection he'd clearly been missing.

Today, Bobo is doing wonderfully! He's becoming more confident and showing us just how much love he has to give. But before he can find his forever family, he still needs veterinary care, including treatment for his oral ulcer, neutering, vaccinations, and any additional care needed to make sure he's healthy and comfortable.

We're hoping to raise $1,000 to help cover Bobo's care and prepare him for the next chapter of his life.
